Apex Building and Development Consultants provide a wide range of Building Consultancy services, as we have expertise in the areas of Energy Efficiency, Building Code and Australian Standards, building design, covenant approvals and Council requirements.
In a consultancy role, the following services are provided:

Energy Efficiency Assessments
Apex Building and Development Consultants specialise in the NSW BASIX Energy efficiency program. We are also able to provide the Thermal Comfort Assessments using the NatHERS Computer modelling.
Energy Efficiency Assessments are required for most new development projects in NSW. Our Energy Efficiency Assessments are designed to meet the particular legislative requirements of the State within which the building work is being carried out.
From the smaller additions and alterations to large multi unit development, we can cover all bases.

Built Form &
Covenant Design AssessmentsFrom the small Boutique Developer to the largest of Residential Developers we can develop and implement a Design Approval program and service that suits your needs.
Our extensive experience in Design Assessment enables us to develop and deliver a Covenant and Design Essentials package to ensure that your development attains an attractive built form outcome.

Application Project Management
We are able to manage the entire application and documentation process of your proposed development, from engagement of initial survey right through to concept design and finalisation of all sub-consultants and application lodgement. The team of sub- consultants we utilize are professional and knowledgeable in their applicable field.

Unlawful Building Works
We can provide assistance in navigating the situations where unlawful building works may have occurred. This includes engagement of required consultants, such as Designers/ Draftsman, Surveyors, Engineers right through to the preparation of requirements Town Planning Reports, Development application lodgement for the “use” of the unlawful works and preparation and submission of the required Building Information Certificate applications in NSW.

Preparation of Management Plans
Apex Building and Development Consultants are able to prepare ancillary development management plans including Demolition Work Plans, Construction Management Plans.
